TGIM!

The first paragraph in the book “How to win friends and influence people” by Dale Carnegie is never CONDEMN, CRITICIZE OR COMPLAIN.   In case you think this buck sucks or something it was written in 1937…and is CURRENTLY #19 on top selling books in 2017!  WOW! SO MAYBE WE SHOULD EXPLORE AND OWN THAT FIRST CHAPTER…

Complaining is like puking.  You feel better but everyone around you feel worse…

Also by condemning, criticizing and complaining you are PUSHING PEOPLE AWAY FROM YOU.  FRIENDS, FAMILY, CUSTOMERS, TEAM MEMBERS.   YOU ARE NOT “RELATING” TO THEM, YOU ARE PUSHING THEM AWAY!  YOU ARE EVEN MORE ISOLATED!

Here’s the problem I believe 99% of the people that do condemn, criticize and complain don’t even know they do it… so…how do you address it?  YOU BAN IT ALTOGETHER!   Here’s THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE…SINCE YOU DON’T DO THE 3C’S BUT ..know “other” that people do the 3c’s..but not you…cough, cough, wink, wink…

COMPLAINING IS NOT CONVERSATION.

It’s even in the Bible- “Do everything without complaining or arguing”  Phil 2:14

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR THIS.  YOU OR ANYONE AROUND YOU.  Get a fine jar, wear a rubber band on your wrist you snap whenever you do one… whatever it takes to change.

There is so much in this life to be thankful for…. we can’t do the 3cs.  We just cant!

Just like when you smile the world smiles back, when you complain, the world turns into a landfill of garbage around you.

3cs cause Energy Vampires, which sucks the positive energy out of anybody.

No problems, only solutions.  Also similar to GOOD!  Only GOOD THINGS, opportunities to improve….

I’ve only had a few bad days on this planet, a death, personal loss or physical pain, seriously only a handful… that’s a lot of good ones!  FOCUS ON THE GOOD!  If you are reading this, 1) you have time to read this, 2) you are healthy enough to read this, 3) you are sober enough to read this 4) you have enough money to have a phone or computer to read this.  That’s 4 things…. and that’s pretty good!
